Coolant for 2014 Haas TM-1?

Starting up a Haas TM-1p that has been sitting for a few years. What coolant would you recommend for cutting aluminium? Supplier? It only has a 5 gal coolant tank so it shouldn’t take much. The coolant in the machine doesn’t look bad and doesn’t smell bad but there is a layer of brown floating on top of the coolant. I don’t know if the coolant has just separated or gone bad. I figure it should be changed .

We have cut some plastic and thin aluminum dry but we want to make some shiny Titan parts! We need coolant.

Thanks,

Chuck

Blaser Swisslube. I just switched to BC 2000 it is one of the creeper ones but I am continually impressed at the improvements ovrr my old coolant… You can call a rep and they will give you recommendations.@BrettReynolds is on hear and he can point you in the right direction. I do knot know about you mill and the brown on the old coolant dose it use way oil? if so it will drain down into the tank and collect on the top. You can take a shop vac and suck the just of it off or invest $$$ in a skimmer or a sepreating tank.
