4 years ago I was working a dead end job running a sand blaster and was miserable. I was using drugs and alcohol to solve all my problems and felt so lost. When I was on a 2 wk drinking binge, I find out that my house that my sister and I were renting had caught fire and my sister and her boyfriend didn’t make it… I was destroyed. The preacher that held the service at her funeral had a fellow preacher that ran a CNC Machine Shop and got me an interview. I was put to running two Hass VF4ss VMCs. I feel in love. Learning the language of the machine and how to solve problems that made a more perfect part helped me find a new way to solve my own personal problems. I started the Academy, Autodesk University, and pretty much any other material that I could use to help me down this new found path I was walking that led me out of the darkness and into a new life. I met the woman of my dreams, had a beautiful baby boy and have been clean for 3 years. If it wasn’t for that preacher man, those Hass’s, and Titans Academy…I’m not sure where I would be. God has blessed me with this new life and I plan to follow it full speed ahead. I’d love to know how anyone reading this found their love for CNC and how it changed their life.
Thank you for sharing your testimony. It is encouraging.
I think you have to love it to stay with it. I just couldn’t find anyone to help me with some very basic machining jobs, so I started doing them myself.
I’m here to help Ashley. She is homeless with five children (Noah, Caleb, Landon, Emma, and Spencer). She depends on friends and family for support. I couldn’t live a day in her shoes. It is total chaos. I’m a friend. If I can teach her one skill, then maybe she can get better than minimum wage for work.
Together we are going to try Titans of CNC Academy. I hope she likes it enough to stay with it.
Congratulations my friend, happy for you, you have inspired me, wish you wisdom, patience and courage.
Happy 24 and just for today.
Thank you all for the encouragement and testimonies and wanna hear more! With the technology, innovative thinking, and freedom we have in America, more and more people should be made aware of the success they can have in this industry so that way in times of tragedy, they dont have to turn to drugs, alcohol, or violence. They can take that anger and put it in their parts. Create something
