Hi Titan… Thank you so much for your content, it is helping me learn fusion and also our new Haas we were inspired to purchase because of your program!
I mostly plowed through all the previous projects, but have been having problems reducing machine time, while also allowing for best quality of finish. Our 1/4" end mill seems to not like those adaptive pockets in the middle of the part. We were able to tweak the settings for the overall finish, but the overall finish wasn’t stellar on the finishing contour I created- it seems to over-engage the mill in the corners. Also, on the ball tracking on the top, I really had a hard time balancing speed and finish quality, the total actual machine time on this seemed to be around 40-45 minutes. Is there a great way to gauge the stepover amount to get the best finish? I wound up using about .015, which made it about a 16 minute op. If I did .005, it would wind up a 45 minute op just by itself… Any good tips for feeds and speeds to maximize finish and timeliness?
Thanks again for all your hard work!
Blessings
