I am described as H.A.R.D. (Half-Assed Retired Dude), and have a master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering. Working as M.E. I would fill the gap translating what design engineers desired and what our machinists could actually manufacture. I’ve been using SolidWorks since 1999, and spend my days learning everything TITANS of CNC has to offer, helping other learners with the TITANS of CNC Academy courses, and making tools and projects for friends and family with my machines. I am currently working on becoming a Xometry and MFG supplier.

In my private workshop I have a DEM4000 mill and LEO1600 lathe. In January 2024 I will be taking delivery of a new DVF5000 5-axis mill. With my machines I’ve completed the Building Blocks and Rocket Series, as well as the Art of Fixturing. Next up will be the 5-Axis Series. I am a TITANS of CNC Academy Host Shop #282, and welcome you to come make your parts on my machines when you are ready.

When I took delivery of my machines in April of 2021, I had no experience or detailed knowledge of how to program or operate them. EVERYTHING I know, I learned from TITANS of CNC and its amazing group of members. You can do this too. I look forward to filling the gap between the TITANS of CNC Academy online coursework, and the hands-on completion of your Academy projects.
