Fresh out of school welder who is obsessed with machining and CNC

After 18 months of full-time study to become a welder in Québec, Canada, something inside me tells me I need to learn about machining and CNC. I’m spending much too much time on YouTube watching videos related to the issue. After years of having fun with practical 3D printing, it’s time to take it seriously and add another skill to my 25-year career as a UX designer.e

Someone on Reddit recommended that I come here to learn. So that’s what I’ll do. Good day, everyone.

Welcome to the group, this is a great site to learn and acquire support from members. The building block series is excellent, although I suggest you work through it sequentially by the numbers, don’t skip to the coolest ones first. It is a building block and you will learn things in the beginning that is not repeated again in the latter ones… Good luck, also create an account on the cncexpert.com site and work on certifications.
