Hi Academy members!
I’m working on the Academy Mill series, halfway done, starting on the second half now. During the day I’m in IT (usually) as a BA. I also have a shop where I’m working on machining/fabricating. Anybody else in Alberta?
I’m also one of the admin’s on a local metalworking forum. Canadian hobby metal workers if you’re interested. It’s a good forum with many great members.
In Calgary SAIT used to run a number of CNC courses (6) for a certificate. I took the first two but then SAIT stopped running them because nobody signed up. It’s been like that for the past 2 or 3 years. I’d like a class on CNC lathe - some hands on instruction just gives you such a boost.
