Has anyone ever considered building Kyocera phone cases? I have a model 7110 and I usually buy this case: Amazon.com it works awesome but the plastic on the back constantly breaks and would be much better replaced with aluminum or titanium. Just food for thought.

@Aaron_Nolt I’ve not thought of that. You would have to make it flexible somehow. I have an IPhone XR with a otterbox plastic case that’s hard to get on and off almost to rigid. Also I think you should have some plastic & or rubber in the cace for shock absorption. If you make one it would be cool to see. I bet if you used aluminum it would dissipate heat really well.
If you look at the case closely you can see that it’s two pieces, it’s a rubber case with a hard plastic frame. I would just replace the plastic with aluminum or titanium and use the rubber. The rubber case is well built but the plastic part constantly breaks, and they just snap together. I would have already made one if I had the proper equipment to be precise enough.
