MasterCAM Basic Question: Initial Screen

I’m trying to follow along with the Mastercam CAD Tutorial | Designing The TITAN 1M (FREE Resources) tutorial on YouTube. On his opening screen there is a widget (work coordinates?) in the center of the screen.

I don’t see this on my MasterCAM screen. Do I need it? How do I turn it on?

Also, is there a basic introduction to the MasterCAM user interface? i.e. an explanation of the various tabs, widgets, and key commands? I’ve used other CAD/CAM packages, but nothing as sophisticated as MasterCAM.

View> Show Gnomons. Clicking on the icon toggles it on and off.

alt + f9 shows it.
f9 shows a diferent kind.
Just toggle it
