When i try to perform Op 2 and surface the bottom of Titan-9M I can’t seem to see the problem as to why I can not do it . It leaves material on the bottom. I have compared it to all of my other 2nd ops but I don’t see the issue causing my problem.
Did you get this figured out? I’m not sure why it left stock. Your setup and face toolpath look to be correct
Shouldn’t the height of his “Z” dimension in the stock window be .98" instead of .230"? Would that prevent him from machining below Z zero? Maybe not, just noticed our 2nd Op part we ran here had a .980 overall thickness
The Z height would be correct at .230 if machined out of 1X2 stock. I entered all the same data in the pics on mine and it came out leaving no stock left.
Yes, I finally figured out what I must have done. I believe I selected part of the chamfer or something. I put it away for awhile and then picked it up. I went back through it and I selected the bottom surface again and it worked.
Now I am just struggling with the top surface of 10M. I will get there. Good thing is I can always go back and watch the other videos to see a step I know I have to use to complete the coding of the 10M.
Patch the iso grid and the holes
