We installed a Mori NLX2500/700 just under a year ago.
I just wondered how people were getting along with it?
Personally, I find it very tedious getting around the menus when dealing with the programming side of things but we can live with that. The real bug bear for me however, is that the scheduling software simply does not work. I use Microsoft Project on my pc to plan all my machines and I expected the Celos software to do the same. I linked the nc programme as requested, at this point, I was excited and thought I had it sussed as this would pull the info/cyc times and then the scheduler can work in real time. Sadly, it doesn’t. The scheduler doesn’t even have options to change working hours/days (as I have done on Project) either, so how can it ever work?. A major issue and I have been told by Mori that it definitely does not work. The Celos may look all singing/dancing, but I feel it simply isn’t finished and should never have been released.
