Just a bit about my background. I’m a mechanical engineer with 17 years experience in the aerospace industry mostly designing and building geosynchronous communications satellites. I’ve had a passion and interest in CNC machining since 1995 when I started worked in a job shop at nights running Fadal VMC’s while I was earning my bachelor’s degrees. I loved working at that small job shop. I learned quite a bit about machining and quality. I thought I was going to into CNC machining after I graduated but my career took an interesting turn. Last year after I was laid off from my job my interest in CNC machining was rekindled so I decided to go back to school and go through a CNC machining program at a local junior college. And I’m loving it! I’ve also started going through the Titan Academy projects.
