Hello from across the pond

Hello everyone,

My name is Sean and i am an applications engineer for a company called Man and Machine in the UK.

My job is to train Fusion 360 (CAD/CAM) and Inventor HSM (CAD/CAM). I also do post processor adjustments for Fusion and HSM. I came from the workshop and have over 10 years of industry experience working with Machine tools across multiple sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and many others.

Its great to be part of such a thriving and helpful community of people and look forward to getting to know other machinists from across the world.

Let the chips fly!

Thanks Billy.

Yeah i like to help out where i can and i am an avid Hobbyist as well as i have a small CNC Router.

Its always good to get the knowledge out there as in the UK there is a serious Skills gap and it needs people to pass on there knowledge to the younger generation to help fill the gap and keep Engineering a thriving industry.

True that. I was lucky to get a workshop apprenticeship when I did. I’m just happy with myself that I put it to good use, and that I can now help others succeed as well. I’m even going back into where I had my apprenticeship to train them in Fusion CAM. BOOOM!
