I work for TOS-13 Warnsdorf. after as put snap UFP-50(rotary head) on the machine is disabled automatic tool change(this is normal),I manually change the tool , but when I insert renishaw rmp-60 I do not work measurement cycles because it is not activated automatically, How to activate prompt (system SINUMERIK 840D sl / 828D , error code 21700)
I would contact the renishaw customer service or the company that you used to purchase this probe from.
Well you must be using Renishaw hardware Siemens probe softwear
error 21700 means probe already triped
Remove and replace battery hold probe inside machine see if comes alive
If probe settings
Switch on/Switch off (Code)
or
Switch on Time out if no trip found .
You said you Manually insert the probe could be simply that probe been left too close to the
OMI and run flat.
worst case its got damaged as its seeing probe open
