Help with back chamfer

Hi,
I’m struggling to get a back chamfer to create a toolpath in fusion. warning says “no passes to link”.

I think I have all the heights set correctly but whatever I try I cant get it to work. Top chamfer works fine.

Thanks

Interesting. I have not had an opportunity to try this. I would think all 4 heights would have to be the same. I would create a Z move to the depth of cut. Set my 4 heights to same point. I will try this Monday when I get back to work…edited, after further thought, take a look at the Titan 8M, you should be able to use same technique to cut a back chamfer.

Yeh watched that and get the top chamfer fine. what im trying to do is back chamfer the underside without flipping the part.

I would think if the ID slot was placed at bottom of part, you could use the same process. Are you picking the surface or the contour of the back chamfer? I would pick the contour.

Have tried both tbh. Could it be that there is no specific back chamfer tool in the library? I tried to use a dovetail to simulate it but that didn’t work either.

Looks like I’m going to have to set up a 2nd op.

Thanks
