Hiring CNC machnists

Hi All,

We are looking to hire a CNC machinist in the Boston area. We use HSMWorks and Fusion360 and thought that theres not better place to look than these forums. Is there place on these forums for placing jobs advertising?

Happy machining!

Hey Dave…where about are you located? I teach Advanced Manufacturing (mostly CNC Machining on Haas VMC’s) at Tri-County in Franklin and have several colleagues in striking distance also to get you a freshly trained student. I happen to train mine to be MACWIC level 2 Certified when they leave me, if you are familiar with that MA industry Cert. Our students are also introduced to Fusion 360 through the Titans Curriculum and are mostly Solidworks Associate Certified as well.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your reply. This sounds fantastic.

We are located in Needham, MA. We can provide a super unique opportunity in that this position provides for cnc programming in HSMWorks or Fusion360, complete machine setup and operation. This is is small shop and more of a prototype shop but we want tp grow it a bit this year. We machine what we engineer and also assemble products. We have 4-axis CNC and looking at adding a 5-axis by years end. I was the Master Instructor or Mechanical Engineering and Fabrication at Olin college for over 10 years so am familiar with training and willing to do it for the right person.

Please advise how to proceed as we have an immediate need!

Best,

Dave
