I have a question for those of you that use LinkedIn, that are small business owners and have a day job. Do you have two LinkedIn accounts one as a business owner looking for business contacts and one as a employee looking for opportunities? I am an aspiring business owner and I am starting to look for a new job. Any advice?
All the years telling connections happy bday and work anniversary and new job. I had a connection ask for me to make something for them. It ended up being a huge order for me.
I have not worked my network for work. But I can see how if you worked it right you could get jobs form it.
Thanks Travis. I just wasn’t sure if I should create another account as a business owner with a different set of contacts, but I can see how I can modify my current account and still make the right contacts. I don’t have my business completely set up as of now, but it would be nice to start making some contacts to reach out to for business in the future.
These are some things I recommend doing.
