Small Group #99 just got started

Hi everybody around Huntsville Alabama.

Small Group #99 just got started at the 2018 College & Career Fair at the University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH) fitness Center.
The Career fair was visited by 6000 HS seniors and Juniors. Plus representatives from 80 Universities / Colleges and 30 companies offering jobs and or training .

Only Small Group 99 exhibited US flag and word “MANUFACTURING” in spite of it 26 future members signed up for CNC training and one got hired to do the training.

Members of Small Group #99 have access and use of more equipment and machinery, including 5 axis OKUMA, than the best machinist trade school in this area.
The Small Group#99 is sponsored by Teaching Factory, Inc, that had move because of the Meridianville Executive Airport Expanded and took its land and demolished its building.
In process of move it lost all its employees and now we have start with new crew.
My hope is that the members of the group will take over and make Teaching Factory into employee owned business.
Make it immensely successful and I will retire.
Small Group#99 does not yet have a website but it produced and distributed 4 page hand out of all the benefits it will provide for free to its members.

Small Group #99 is located at 1268 Steger Rd. Meridianville AL

It requires a little more construction before it becomes totally operational but all visitors are welcomed.

Until get the website gets going those who are interested in getting copy of the handout request it by from my Email ilmar@groupnumber99.com

I hope you have a productive and resourceful teaching experience and keep the code of ethics throughout you’re teaching processes by you and your employees.

Sounds like your group isn’t giving up even though the circumstance and had to split but maybe the other people from the group will start a small group, too.

Please explain, nothing about this message makes any sense.

It says here the group lost people in the move once the Airport demolished the building. I said hopefully some of the guys that went to other places will carry on. Maybe start their own group in a new place to keep the teaching and growing going elsewhere. And the Original Group 99 is still carrying on, too.

It was a word of encouragement to your group and hopefully to the ones lost in the move to carry on learning.

Small Group #99 is sponsored by my machine shop Teaching Factory, Inc.

I had four exceptionally good employees producing precision 5 axis parts mostly for the aerospace industries. The shop was located on the land adjacent to the Meridianville Executive Airport. (suburb of Huntsville AL it is one of fastest expanding high technology manufacturing centers in the US. For proof google Huntsville the smart place You tube.

Then two events happened almost at the same time:

(1) Airport started Eminent Domain process to acquire my land. They wanted me to move out in three month. That was not enough time to build a new building and move therefore I refused. The legal confusions that ensued from it stretched the process out for more than year. Now, it is over and we are in a new building

(2) By coincidence my shop foreman, to see him teaching how to do setups go the website www.cncsetuphelper.com (the instrument that he uses is my invention) and watch two videos, took over his family business and left. Without shop supervisor and uncertainty as where to move I had no choice but close.

But I kept all the machinery with the intention of starting up again in a new building at a new location and this time with enough startup capital (from the proceeds of the Eminent Domain) to do it right.;

TIME TO START UP AGAIN HAS ARRIVED

This time as a Small Group #99 with the great help from the Titians of CNC Academy.
To begin with the Group teach its members everything that is available from the Academy in accordance with its highest standards for ethics, honesty and quality.

So far 26 potential members signed up for learning at the recent College and Education Career fair that was attended by 6000 High Schools seniors (count is accurate because they were bussed in). Group #66 was the only exhibitor out 110 that displayed large American Flag and the word MANUFACTURING. to assure that only the true believers in the greatness of America and manufacturing sign up 26 did.

One of them is now paid employee of the Group #99 he is destined to become full time instructor providing that Titan Gilroy likes him. Hopefully, they will meet at IMTS.

All details of how the Small Group #99 will operate are described in a four page handout which was distributed at the career fair. The website for the Group is not yet operational

therefore all you who want to get a copy of it please request it from: ilmar@groupnumber99.com
