South Africa Is Back

Hello Everyone my name is Leonardo and Iam from Johannesburg South Africa. Iam fresh out of school and bussy completeing my Red seal of Fitting and Turning. I fell in love with the Idea of automation at a young age and loved designing my own stuff I soon discovered the world of CNC and knew that it was meant for me. Iam new to everything and dont have years of experience but I think that Titan and hes team will be able to make my dreams a reality of getting into the areo space industrie.

Goodday Iam so glad that this thread could go on.
It is really nice to meet a fellow South African in this field. If you dont mind telling me your journey so far. It would be nice to hear. Sence the last time I have completed my real seal and have gone on to become mastercam certified and solidworks certified it has truly been a journey and the titans of cnc team has helped some what with the process. Iam still at the same company as I was when I started planning on maybe moving to Australia for better opertunities.
Regard Leonardo

Well i wanted to start C.N.C machining around 8 years ago when i use to work as a conventional turner i use to see a lot of advising on the turning magazines in my company but the company was not interested in it. Eventually i left and went on to get my fitting and turning trade test however an audit closed the turning side of my trade test so Im only qualified as a fitter. I was offered a job in Tiger Brands but lost it due toe HR complications. I then had the opportunity to work as a operator on a CNC Mill and i took it i am currently unemployed as Im mostly working 3 month contracts and was saving up to do my C.N.C courses through Stilham i got to do my programming courses to intermediate phase on both milling and turning. However the continues planning for the trip and courses are becoming more expensive so im trying this academy out. Witch small group did you apply to as i am having problems applying to one
