Hello, I just finished converting a small 2HP benchtop mill to CNC. My first part on this mill is the Titan 1M. Here is the good and bad news:
Operations:
Facing - Worked perfectly.
Adaptive1 - the toolpath that roughs out the contour and pockets - Worked Perfectly.
2D Contour - Fusion created a toolpath the was about 3/8" wider and 3/8" taller than the correct size. The tool for this toolpath is a 3/8" end mill. Is there some setting that I may have configured incorrectly to make this happen
2D Pocket1 - This toolpath worked correctly but it left a rough bottom surface (see image).
2D Chamfer (upper section) - Worked great.
2D Chamfer (lower section) - Worked great.
Drill Spotting: No good. Location of chamfers are in the wrong place.
Deep Drilling: No good. Location of holes are in the wrong place.
I have uploaded the fusion file and image of the part.
Oops, Correction. These are the toolpaths that did not work correctly (see bold):

In your tool library for your 3/8 in Mill do you have it labeled as .375 diameter? About saying it’s taller do you have your Heights offset set right? To finish your getting on the floor makes me wonder how rigid your machine tool is?
Thanks so much for your response. The problem with the 2D contour was that I had the tool diameter set in Fusion as well as my controller. I removed the tool diameter from the controller tool library, and it worked great.
The poor bottom surface was caused by the tool slipping a bit in the holder. All set now.
