I am told that it is not possible to assign tools to specific magazine locations on this machine.
Anyone have another opinion? Thanks.
It is possible, on the machine manual there is a lot of information on how to do it, but i can’t find a purpose to do so, since on the doosan screen > tool management > you can check where is the tool you are looking for (the information will come like this: P001 - T016) the ‘‘P’’ means pocket. I find very usefull to create more tools on your sistem (fanuc in my case) so i can have more offsets ready to go if the holder/tool does not change. example: i always keep my Ø63 mm face mill in T063 even do i only have 30 pockets.
