Ball endmill speed and feed help

Does anyone now of some good resources or even videos that can give me some direction on getting a good surface finish with a ball endmill on various materials? I have a hard time finding info on depth, stopover, speeds and feeds using a ball endmill. It seems like something no one wants to talk about. My main application is mild steel and i can get a decent finish but not really nice.

You can use this calculator to get close to feed rate, surface finish… It is for turning, but you can basically input to calculate ball nose endmills also. Engineering Calculators - APT (aptmtools.com) Use the turning surface roughness calculator.
