One of the qualifications for a CAD certification for CNC Expert is that the model must have threads when the part requires them. Mastercam is not great at this, and in order to thread holes in a solid model you need to spend a significant amount of time doing it manually, as there is no option to do so in any tool under the solids tab. Has anyone gotten a cert without making the threads, or figured out an easier way to thread solid models in Mastercam?

MasterCam has improved its CAD platform a great deal, it is pretty good at direct model design changes. I prefer other software for CAD designing though. MasterCam is primarily a great CAM platform having CAD functionality, IMHO.
