Fusion 360 chamfer not correct

Duh, I didn’t think of that one, the tolerance, who knew…

HI, I am screwing this to the table using the holes, and face milling just a bit off the top, when I take it off it is warped a bit, How can I fix this…?

How much is a bit how big is it to begin with? Was it bowed to begin with? What 3the maternal? @davidhofer

It is steel, like 59 inches by 7 inches, I’d say it bows by about 1/8 inch…

You are fighting the battle of the century. Cold rolled steel is the worst! I recommend that you try stress-relieving to begin with. I don’t know if you’re familiar with the process of steelmaking but when the metal is rolled it can roll stresses into the material when you take a cut on one side it releases the stress and then the part acts like a spring boing now you have a horseshoe instead of a flat part. If at all possible send it out for stress relieving. This can help although you will still need to cut a little off the side and then a little off that side. Another thing to keep in mind the less heat you build up in the park the better.
