Need help with Tool Orientation issue

I have restarted the Mill series using Fusion360. Fusion has changed a lot since I worked on this series a few years ago. Anyway, while working on the 1M and trying to program the Chamfers, I get the following errors listed for both roughing and finishing tool paths. “Your license does not allow generating operations using Tool Orientation.” I tried the Fusion 360 knowledge base and it said to click on “Compare and Edit” then change to tool orientation. My XYZ are on the back left corner of the box model point.

Can someone give me a clue as to what is going on.

This would be a great question for the Facebook group. There is a lot more folks there with a lot of knowledge.

You should be using either 2D contour or chamfer process using a 45 degree chamfer tool. You must pick the contour profile. If you pick the chamfer face, this will try to swing you 45 degrees off normal XYZ orientation. You would need the Advanced Machining extension to use the bottom of your endmill to machine the face.

tool Orientation is usually associated with 5 axis. make sure that box is NOT checked
