Fusion 360/Tormach Pcnc 1100 And Rapidturn

I am Dale Masters I have been working with the Titans Acdemy to learn to use my Mill. I am trying to use my Rapidturn on my Tormach PCNC 1100, with Fusion 360. Trying to make The Rocket series. I can’t get it to work. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dale, a couple of questions regarding your difficulty. You mention using your Mill, the Rocket Series is a lathe machine, so that may be first difficulty. You can definitely CAD/CAM the Rocket parts, but will need to select a Lathe postprocessor to create code. Let me know if this was of any help.

I have a Tormach PCNC 1100 with the Rapidturn attachment. I can not get the setup to select a machine. I did find out the the 15l with Rapidturn is in the machine libriary. But I can not get it to go to the setup. Thanks for the help!

I would forego selecting the machine during setup, but you can select a post-processor to match when you are finished with your CAM processes. if you cannot find your specific model, just select a generic lathe post. Just make sure you select lathe or turning when you setup… Z axis should be on centerline of revolved part.
