FUSION Operations Spread Sheet

In order to help with CAM operation programming, I have created an Excel spreadsheet to use as a guide, You will see at the bottom that it also mirrors the tabs inside of FUSION.

Fusion%20Tabs

The current data in each cell is only for example and will be different for every application. I was just trying to capture as many possible settings as I could. There are some that are not shown as each drop down list will generate more of them.

I hope this is useful to everyone.

You’re on the right track here, only thing i suggest is learning whats called SPEEDS and FEEDS for tools.
You can save that data in your tool library. once save for each material your done.
I almost always mill aluminum at the same SFM and Chiploads same goes for stainless and inco.

I suggest a Machinist Handbook.
Maybe also the HAAS CNC machinist reference guide i think that is available online maybe.

This will help you get the correct numbers that will drive the spindle rpm and feed per tooth.
There are calculations done to derive spindle speeds, once you have spindle speeds you can use chipload to calculate feed rate.
