Hi!
I have an Insize 3d tester in the machine, which I use for finding WCS zero’s.
But since the Z zero is referenced by it, it is important that it repeats every time.
But from time to time, the needle does not return to the same spot.
How can I trust that 0 is 0, when I have to adjust the dial background in between jobs?
Hello @MagnarTharaldsen is there a chance you can use the table as a reference point? If you can call the highest point in Z as 0 then some given amount until the probe is set to 0. When the probe needs recalibrated go through the process again.
Use the same reference point every time & the same given length. The tool should be calibrated exactly the same.
The Probe is Garbage.
It should always return to the same Zero you set.
I would get it re-calibrated / rebuilt by the manufacturer
