ok i have a question about how post processing works i know i can make it to where i turn certain features on and off like adding the number lines or not
but is there a way for me to set it up to start each tools a certain way for instance when we write a tool block at work it looks like this
t19 m6
m1 (end mill)
goo g90 g54 x5 y5 s6000 m3
g43 h19 z1. m8 t?
g1 z-.5 f50.
into the regular code and its ended with either
g80 m9 at the end of the tool and the next tool picks up just like the beginning of this one unless its the last tool then we like it to look like this
g80 g91 g28 z0. y0. m9
goo g90 g54 x20.
m30
and when fusion posts it its trying to put the s and m3 in a different line then where i prefer it and the m1 in different lines and different things out of place to my preference and i know its a matter of proof reading and just fixing it and its not that big a deal but if there is a way to change it id like too cause thats one thing less i gotta do
thats just the way they standardized coding. You can manual code a million ways from Sunday. They do it in the most generic way that fits most controllers so its easier to go between.

If its alright with you, I could take a look at your post processor. See if I could make some edits like i did to mine, but no promises.

I’m willing to try I’m not at home this weekend I will send it then how do you want to accomplish that?
Yeah I understand that I was just curious about making it post a certain way automatically is all
I like my program to post a certain way also and picky where things go or what Im used to. Just PM me you post file and I’ll give it a shot. I do it on my free time anyways.

I moved the m8 to be after the G43 H and m9 before g53 zo - didn’t like the standard code.
I did some youtube search on post edit from ATMan - very good.
note" always keep the original because if your edits mess everything up you need to get back to square one - like cam programming and getting lost - need to find a way back home - so I make updates with a new letter at file name so I can go back one rev if needed.
I can send you my Haas.cps - I have it so it has no line nums - M8 - m9 where I want - company name on top - time stamp date stamp - and a readble tool list - this I use in Fusion360 but I think HSM is the same
