Slot thru part milled rotated radially . 5 axis

My problem is creating the slot in the solid I can do the 5 axis tool path . . Can anyone point me in the direction. I tried to tilt the part at 35 deg and extrude the slot thru but this did not come out right . Look at picture .I’m using mastercam 2019 .

Create the slot in the 35deg view.

Did you create a new 35 degree offset plane to apply the slot sketch?

yes I tilted part 35 deg . That is what the picture represents which is not correct. I thought of projecting the curve on to the surface

Hello,

Easy with Solidworks. Not so easy with Mastercam or Fusion 360.

That looks pretty clean . I’m not sure if my part I made in Mastercam is perfect. The extrusion at the bottom looks different than the print ,but it seems to measure in tolerance. . In mastercam I used boolean remove to create the slots .Could you export this as a step file to me .

Thanks

Sent PM but never heard back.

I just saw your reply . It looks good I will compare it to mine . I revolved a tool body the shape of the slot and did a booleen remove . First try I projected the slot 2d geo to the surface at 35 deg then extruded it thru . This did not look right
Thanks for your help
