I’m looking for a little help with a part we have. It’s a flat plate with a radius slot down the center and intersecting slots. (grease slots on a wear plate) The part came in as a STP file, I can get the intersecting slots to run using the “slot” mill 2D but I haven’t been able to get the center slot to run because of the intersects, either open or closed profile. I’m using a 1/4 ballnose, the slots are full rad. If anyone has any ideas or knows the way to get this programed, I’d really appreciate the help!

Quick and dirty just sketch the center line on the surface in CAD and adjust the z in CAM ? Select the line for your tool path.
