I like the project displayed, but most of my students would find this very difficult to do, unless they had completed all of the Building Block projects. Even then there is a leap, but at least they understand basic machining techniques and CAM processes. I think there should be emphasis or prerequisites established or they will be a ton of questions (mostly basic and rudimentary) flooding the forum. It will be a project my class will not see materialize in the physical form due to cost of materials and machine size, but it is a great project.

When will the aerospace models be available for download?
how about a list of tooling or fixturing used for each project? .pdf or .xlsm format? goes for all academy projects.
would be nice to have a checklist of items i need to actually complete the projects. instead of sifting thru the net to find something close.
