Looking to purchase tooling for my students to build the chess set. Any ideas for toolholders to get down inside the profile on the head of the queen and king?
@Billy-Boyce can you help?
Sorry Iām not to up to spec on the lathe tooling but I know this guy can help >>>>> @TysonGilroy
I have designed the chess pieces as well but never turned them. The way i would do the crowns: I would use my lathe to spin the parts and then do a second op on my mill. Not sure if that is the titan way but its my way
Getting the job done is the Titan way. I believe I have seen eather on FB or in hear wear a teacher did it the way you are saying. Not all of us have lathes with live tooling.
@TysonGilroy I just got a new ST20Y and would love to see your tooling list that you used to make the chess series. I know it has not been released yet on the tutorials, but if you could send a list of tools and the tool number used during manufacture, it would be a great help.
HELLO everyone!
I can remember when I first started here, the tool list was importable so you could add it to fusion. However, when I look on here now I can not seem to find them for the chess pieces. I am trying to do this on swiss L-32ās; so am looking for the list to compare to as well as modify to fit my machine. Anyone with the lists for all the chess pieces, or if you have your own lists from which I can learn from would be greatly appreciated!

Good morning everyone,
So I spent the weekend digging through my computer! Found tooling list buried deep in a download folder; it was for the rocket pieces, not the chess pieces. My mistake. SO! If anyone has done the chess pieces on any type of machine, your input would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,

Hello Stephen,
I click on your link and it comes up as does not exist or is private.
Thanks,
