hopefully someone could help me out.
having trouble finishing the install of a recently purchased license of Mastercam 2022 EDU suite.
Going through the activation wizard and before I can type in the license numbers, i get:
“unhandled exception
failed to retrieve list of installed license containers. innerexception: codemeter license server not found, error 101”
then it closes.
Opening the codemeter control center i can see at the bottom that the service in running, but the text says “no codemeter license information available. no cmcontainer found” and the events tab says the codemeter service is not started and no event info is available.
the webadmin button is greyed and unclickable, as is pretty much all the drop down tabs.
already tried to uninstall both MC and CM, installing CM separately from the wibu site, all with no success.
am i missing something in this installation process? any help is greatly appreciated.
