Thank you for allowing me onthe forum . Just got Fusion 360 after spendinh 6 months with BobCad to no avail. Here is the problem. we got Bobcad for a Haas TM-1 in order to make leather stamping tools but Bob Cad is unable to do it. A leather stamp with a tear drop shape and a very slight curvature over the whole thing. maybe a raise of .060. Can someone here tell me where to start or give me a lead as to who could do some programming for us.

are you trying to cut the top semi circle shape
Yes essentially we need teh mill to cut the periphery then sculpt the top . We have many different sizes i.e length and width. At present we cut them by hand and eye. So yes. I was trying to use a cube and manipulate it.

Do you have a drawing or a cad file of the part. I use Inventor but can write you a program. I can send you the full program with setup toolpaths and walk you through how I done it. Just out of curiosity where are you located at.

No sir. I am trying to lern to do teh designing in cad, now fusion 360 . We had BobCad but they have proven to be less than reputable in that they cant even design the tool themselves in their program I can send pictures . I did design it in meshcam trial but then I could not design a.
Here are some pictures of tool styles we make
. These are from another maker. Most are geometrics but many have compound curves on top. that have to be sculpted. The simple answer would be for us to do all but the actual sculpting of the curvature by hand.

These can defiantly be programmed with no issues. If you can shoot me an email with all the information on the part dimensions. Also let me know what machine you are using and the specs on it too please.
Out of curiosity where are you located? Maybe someone close could do in person programming session. If not I will help and do as much as I can to get you on track.

Okay good. Are you using fusion 360?. I can send pictures of teh tools we want. It would be better to send a tool actually . I am not sure how to measure the tools we do without a comparitor. So the other question is how much would you charge for a tool ready to post?
Also I am in Sierra Vista, Az. south of tucson. Being able to get some personal one on one help would be magnificent… I will upload picturs with dimentions today. Thank you.
I use Inventor HSM it works the same as Fusion 360 basically. I just have more options, but the Interface is 90% the same.
Pictures, Dimensions, Tooling List, Machine Info, How the part is normally setup or I can come up with it also.

Thanks . Let me know what you need from me pics with dimensions I know. Also do you have experienc with the posting to HAAS Tm-1. Sorry guess wondering your machine experience. I know we would probably use a 1/2 inch mill to do the whole thing. Im thinking.

I have been working with Haas Mills and Lathes my whole machinist career so very familiar with TM1. Did you check your private messages or email setup with the account of here.
