Hi, what type of lube are you using in the automatic lube? Using gear lube now , not the best…it floats and creates issues…
Good Morning, David
i work on a DMG and when we changed brand of lubricant,
we had some issues of air inside pipes from pump to bearing
gived by chemical components incompatibility of two greases.
We cleaned lubricant pump, pipes and with only 1 kind of,
everything has started to work fine.
Hoping for help,

It works well. You might look into an oil skimmer remove the Tramp oil.

as suggested by Rumplestiltskin, a way oil rated ISO 68 usually will work great.
A skimmer is also a great idea. Alternatively, you can use a wet shop vac to suck the tramp oil layer off the top of the coolant. hold the end of the vacuum hose at about a 15° to 20° angle and about 1/2" to 3/4" above the surface.
