When performing a sub spindle part off/transfer is it necessary to apply a m34 code a second time after changing the spindle speed mid operation? I am attempting a sub spindle pull for the next part length then begining the cutoff portion of the operation.
In general terms, I am feeding over the part, sub spindle clamp, main spindle unclamp, pull part with sub spindle, re-clamp main spindle. Then I begin the cutoff. The spindles are already phase synced before the pull but I am hesitant to run the operation further because I change from a G97 S100 to G96 S300 for the part off blade and am unsure if both spindles will remain in sync if I don’t reapply the M34. However, I noticed the sub spindle pauses for a moment when initially syncing and am concerned that if it does that when seeing the M34 a second time while both spindles are clamped on the workpiece it will stall the spindle.
Any tips or example code would be greatly appreciated.
