Op 2 is actually a harder concept to teach - as you have to align to finished work - getting people to under stand
I like this method. Seems to be extremely accurate in my thoughts thank you for sharing.

I set my Z0 to top of the parallel for op2. I then add the facing op and set to stock top. Bottom height is model top.
