Hello, my name is Shawn I am a student in Machine tool here in TN, and have been working on a few of the Titan projects. I am currently working on the 85L and was creating the tool path for the threading operation. When I went to pick the threading tool, it does not give me the lead in/ lead out so I can put the numbers in for that section. Now it does show up prior to selecting a tool, but once I select the threading tool its no longer a option. once I fill in all my parameters and run simulate, I get crashes. Anyone on here give me some advice.

I have noticed this also. I chalk it up to the software being updated several times since the videos have come out. Some of the parameters are no longer available and are done in the background for us. I also get crashes on my threading.

Thank you Brian for your in put, I can’t figure out what I did wrong when I am following the guy step by step LOL.
yeah this one is for the 85L Rocket series lathe projects, there are like 10 different parts you can lathe out. That part, (85L) when I follow the cat on here and draw what he id drawn everything works out fine till I get to the threading, and when I run the simulation I get a crash into the part. I have changed parameters, numbers and still does not work, but thanks for you your help brother.

Post a screen shot or a windows snip of the screen to show us what you are talking about. Threading does not have a lead in/out.
