Tool Library for Download

Good afternoon everyone,
Is there a tool library that i can download other than what is offered from Titan? I wanted to try out other tools for programming purposes. Thank you in advance.

Ours ( TITANS OF CNC ) is the only one I know of but making your own tools in fusion is quite simple. There should be quit a few tools already installed into fusion.

It’s takes some time to figure out setting up new tools in the library, but after you do it a couple of times then it’s easy money afterwards. Especially with the latest update, the diagram is easy to determine how to fill in the required fields.

Some tool manufactures have some downloads for tooling S&F so you might check to see if they have tooling libraries too.

Darroll, did you get this figured out? If not, what tools are you trying to download or create?

Installation of Fusion360 has a pretty large local tool library offering. I bet you can go to the Autodesk forum and find people that specific tool libraries for specific machines or needs.

You may have to pick a drill and then redefine it as a reamer. You should have a local library installed when you installed Fusion 360. See image.

Ok, I’m just starting out on the Building Block Series, Titan-1M. The video says to download the tool library. How do I do that? I assume it has to go into a specific folder? I’m my Tool Selection widow doesn’t have a “Cloud” option. How do I activate that? This is a screenshot of the video and my Select Tool window.

Make sure you download the Titan Tool Library file first. You can find this in the Related Files area on the How to Draw the TITAN-1M tutorial page.

Inside of Fusion on the top ribbon is a Manage tab. Hit the drop down list for Manage Library, then follow image below. Don’t worry about Cloud services for now, just load the library using LOCAL which is your computer.

Thanks Bill! Your instructions worked like a charm. I’ve uploaded the tool list into my CAM file. I’m new to Fusion 360 so I am still learning my way around the Fusion 360 windows, drop-down menus, and commands.

Does anyone know how to get a tool library from Fusion imported into Inventor HSM?

I think what you need to do is change the file extension then you should be able to insert into InventorHSM.
