Undercutting in Fusion- Need to retract lead out back to lead in

I need this cutter to make the cut and then reverse back to the lead in position to retract out of the part.
In theory, if I use a negative linear lead out distance it would work but fusion doesn’t allow negative linear lead out distance. this is a 2D contour tool-path. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanksunder

I ran into this issue myself. I just posted the code and edit it to do what I wanted it to do. Sorry I don’t know how to make fusion do it but this is a workaround I hope it helps.

I had this issue a while back and i had to play with the lead in & lead out as separate. I had to fine tune my Lead Out a bit. Have you trying using the Keep Tool Down- Checked and picking an Entry point like Center of that hole.

i don’t think this will help because of the tool path but a Circular Cut tool path gives the option to lead and exit from center.

Not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish… I did this and my tool started and ended in same path on the lead in and lead out.

Here is the toolpath

I would want a slight radii lead in, so this should work also. the tool returns where it originally plunged.

That was my 1st explanation just better with pictures haha. I know sometimes you have to watch it in simulation to verify the Lead Out is in fact coming back to that point.
