I’m trying to get myself though the Titan Building Blocks series. I’m on the 4M triangle part. I noticed when doing the pocket pass that it touched both axial and radial, even though it was supposed to be just axial and then when the contour to finish the pocket with “wear” it does both axial and radial, even though axial is already to size, but it doesn’t seem to do the 3 corners. I’m going off of the color change and looking really closely on the contour pass, it seems to stop right before the radius and leaves a kind of step.
I tried to fiddle with the stock to leave and couldn’t figure it out.
Are you using the right tool? You can not make a small corner R with a tool that is bigger. As to your axle in radial cutting I would look fo see when and were you left stock.
If your radial cut is on the same the depth as your axel wall cut it will kiss the surface and fusion well change the color because it actually touches the surface whether it’s removing material or not.
As @Rumpelstiltskin stated, the simulation will show interference if it touches a surface regardless if it is removing material or not. Post your code and check your Z depths to see if your roughing pass and finishing pass both go to same part Z depth. If it does, ignore the red simulation warning.
