Having issues in Titan 6-m

As I was using the 2d contour to machine around the islands in TITAN 6-M with 1/4" flat end mill…after genarating the tool path its showing a warning that " cannot plunge outside the stock ".
need tips how to overcome the above warning .

Curious, let me know if the error goes away if you eliminate any lead in or lead out factors, including the vertical lead in. Your error maybe a result where your tool start to move to your cutting path is running into something.

if I am eliminating the lead in or lead out it is showing that it has to be given a value as wear compensation is activated…

You might try two things then.

  1. Turn off comp, chose for compensation, using computer, see if that eliminates the error
  2. Check to see what diameter you have in your tool offset page. Zero out the diameter to see if that eliminates the error.

I have tried what you suggested but couldn’t overcome the warning.I was doing in the same way as per the Titan 6-M video. Even in the video warning has occured but no solution was shown. If you don’t mine just see the video once or you give a try to find the solution and it will useful for others also in future.

Thanking you Sir !!!

Toolpath, no warning errors

Thanks a lot Sir !!! It worked.

  1. Is it necessary to use Wear comp while finishing the component ?? If Yes why are we not able to use in the Titan 6-M for above issue I have asked you before as you opted cutter comp to ‘in computer’.

  2. Can we use a smaller tool than 1/4" end mill so that we can opt ’ wear’ in compensation option and we can use multiple roughing passes just like the TITAN 6-M video made by Titan Gilroy.

3.The solution given by you regarding the previous problem does it differ from the TITAN 6-M video made by Titan Gilroy…??

I am pretty sure it worked using the wear compensation. I opt to not use the wear compensation to prevent any aw shits when they run the part in the machine. If someone has a value in the tool offset page, you might snap the 1/4 endmill. It worked for me when I used the wear compensation, if you could snap a picture of linking page
