These are the Pitbull clamps that I got from David Bishop and Mighty Bites for commenting on a post.

These look like they go into your tslot on your table. Is that correct? I got some of the clamps but I have to make walls and holes in special fixtures for them. These look like a better option for one off parts.

You can use them with t-nuts or tapped holes on a fixture plate. Tremendous clamping pressure

On the large plate i used the modular pit bull clamps.
This was not a good setup because when I drilled the holes the plate flexed and became lose in the clamps.
I should have put some support in various places to keep the plate from flexing so much during drilling.

I made these mitee bite talon grip jaws as I kept having problems with jobs moving when pushing the boundaries of speed and feed. They work really well.

My students found out if you clamp aluminum, don’t over torque or the talons will be imprinted on the part. Scary how little you hold. I kept waiting for the parts to move and never experienced any problems.

We only use talons for hold stock, NEVER finished parts. You need to torqued them such that they do “imprint” your parts otherwise you could be in a dangerous situation.
