Titan 3M O-Ring Groove

We are working on the Titan 3M and one of my students came up with what I think is a good option for the O-ring groove. If you use a Contour you have to calculate how much material to leave to center the tool in the groove. Use Slot and select each edge of the bottom of the groove. Slotting seems to run the tool down the middle of the groove. No math. You still ramp in at .03 max ramp stepdown to work to a full pass at full depth. Then you run a Contour on each side for a finish pass per the video. One option on the finish pass is not to shorten the lead in/out to fit the groove, change the sweep angle to 5 or 10 degrees. They should still fit in the groove.

Just another way to skin the cat.
