Hello! I am trying to model the Titan-9M part in Inventor and I’ve run into a snag when creating the two pockets on the top surface. In the video he uses the “To Object” option with a .325 offset within Extrude. Inventor doesn’t seem to have the “To Object” with an offset option. What ways have my fellow Inventor users found to get around this and create these features?

In 2018 you can use the Distance from Face, on the Extrude command and Cut. Remember to select the flat surface and then turn off the little check mark box or else it won’t cut the curved surfaces from the previous revolve command.
This is the easiest, apart from using 3d sketches and projecting the 2d sketch. You then use the split tool and later emboss it. Although you have to repeat this three times for the three surfaces.
